Exploration in Genealogy

The monthly series, Explorations in Genealogy is offered on the second Saturday of each month in 2025 with the next session taking place on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 10:30 – Noon.
This month, genealogist Billy Hebert will give a presentation on the historic town of Morley located in West Baton Rouge Parish and the people who lived there. Many local families in the community today still have ties to this lumber community that thrived from 1907 -1927.
Explorations in Genealogy is hosted by the West Baton Rouge Genealogical Society and is sponsored by the West Baton Rouge Museum. This program is FREE, open to the public, and no registration is required.
