Candlelight Vigil for Lapu-Lapu Day Lives Lost

Join us for a candlelit vigil to honour the lives that were lost and the families and communities affected at the Lapu-Lapu Day festival in Vancouver.

Anyone is welcomed to share a poem, a story or any other healing practise that feels right to bring to the group. Same goes for tea, snacks, or anything else you’re feeling called to share - however, there is no need to show up with anything other than yourself 💗

We will gather at 7:30 at canal beach.

Accessibility: parking is available right up to the beach, but getting to the shore requires making your way down a sloped rocky beach that is not wheelchair accessible.

There is an undercover, paved, level area next to the parking that the group will gather under to accommodate access or cover from rain if needed.

There is no public transport but if anyone would like to arrange a ride or to carpool, please message the organizers and we can easily accommodate that.
