ORGANUM HISTRIAE 2025.
22. kolovoza – 27. rujna, 20.00h (osim 7.9., 21.00h)
Motovun. Pula. Sv. Lovreč. Buje. Rovinj.
Ulaz slobodan – dođite otvorenih ušiju i radoznalim srcem.

ORGANUM HISTRIAE 2025.
August 22nd – September 27th (8 p.m., except September 7:9 p.m.)
Motovun. Pula. Sv. Lovreč. Buje. Rovinj.
In the serene Istrian summer evenings, amidst the charming stone streets, historic churches, and imposing fortresses that stand as testaments to centuries past, the sounds of one of Croatia's most extraordinary festivals – Organum Histriae – fill the air once again.
For 26 years, this incredible international festival has been celebrating the wonderful world of historical organs, combining the sublime sounds of music, rich heritage, and contemporary interpretation in the unforgettable ambiances of Istria.
This year's edition is set to be nothing short of spectacular, with seven unforgettable evenings that are sure to enchant every soul. We begin on August 22nd in Motovun, where we will have the privilege of hearing one of the most promising Dutch organists of the younger generation, Jeroen Koopman, perform on the organ of the Church of St. Stephen.
As the festival continues, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy musical encounters such as a violin and organ in the Pula Cathedral (August 30) featuring the virtuoso violinist (and pianist!) Oleksandra Fedosova and concert organist Salvatore Pronestì, as well as the young and talented Japanese organist Rina Ishii, who will bring us closer to the secrets of the Orient (September 6, Sveti Lovreč).
A spectacular moment of the festival is coming on 7 September – a multimedia performance of "The Legend of Kópakonan" under the starry sky of the Pula Kaštel! The harmonious blend of organ, cello, narration, and light effects creates a one-of-a-kind experience in this region, brought to life by talented artists from Croatia, Poland, Greece, and Finland.
An organ weekend will happen in Pula on September 19 and in Buje on September 20! There, Graces & Voices, a top Austrian female vocal ensemble, is teaming up with the incredible Nicola Cittadin on the organ. They're going to blow your mind with a unique repertoire that features mystical medieval chants, all wrapped up in modern organ improvisation.
The grand finale is coming up on September 27 in Rovinj, and it's going to be a showstopper! The church of St. Euphemia is gearing up to transform into a concert hall, and we're thrilled to announce that celebrated artists Sidonia Gudrun Otto (soprano) and Andreas Liebig (organ) will be gracing us with their talent.
Stay tuned for more information, concert announcements, and details about locations.
