COME bang on the drum and have some fun !!

Michelle participated in her first Drum circle in 1999 and instantly fell in love with how drumming made her feel! She has since drummed with a variety of groups thru the years, learning different rhythms along the way.

The style of Drum played, is called a Djembe, which means, “to gather together in peace”. She teaches the sounds of the drum and simple rhythms, but also does some freestyle, as well as, playing with recorded music.

In the year 2020, she launched Joyful Distractions for facilitating drum circles, as she loves ministering JOY to lift the spirits of others by creating a safe healing space for anyone seeking healing through peace, joy and connection.
