Star Wars Legion Escalation League
A Star Wars Escalation League takes place over three months with players slowly growing their force from 600 points to a 1000 points making it the ideal way to either start your journey into the game or build up a new faction.
The Escalation League will be split into 3 intervals for this season that will run from the 1st of December through to the 28th of February.
Player Responsibilities:
Players taking part in the league are responsible for supplying their own, miniatures, cards, dice, measuring tools, tokens, army list and other game pieces that are required to play the list they are bringing. Players may borrow the special environmental condition cards that are being used that month from Alex the event organiser.
Miniatures
The league is as much about playing the game as it is about the hobby aspect. Each player must he the miniatures for each unit in their Army List. Players are allowed to customise their miniatures as they like though the must follow these guidelines:
• The unit must be able to be identified as the unit they represent is some way.
• The size of pose of a customised miniature cannot interfere with gameplay.
• Miniatures must be attached to a base of the appropriate size and shape of the original miniature it represents.
Interval 1: Scouting Ahead (December 1st to December 31st)
Army Lists
Players build a 600 points army list using the Star Wars Legion Recon rules found on the atomic mass website.
Battle Cards
Battle Decks will not be formed in these games players will use the Primary Objective Intercept Signals and Secondary Objective Surface Scan and both players get the Advantage Cunning Deployment. You may choose to swap the Advantage for the special environment condition that is available during this interval.
Table Size
These games will be played on 3 ft by 3 ft table.
Interval 2: Meeting Engagement (January 1st to January 31st)
Army Lists
Players build a 800 points army list using the Star Wars Legion Recon rules found on the atomic mass website.
Battle Cards
Battle Decks will be formed as normal as detailed in the rulebook online. You may choose to swap the Advantage for the special environment condition that is available during this interval.
Table Size
These games will be played on 6 ft by 3 ft table.
Interval 3: The Final Battle (February 1st to February 28th)
Army Lists
Players build a 1000 points army list using the Star Wars Legion Recon rules found on the atomic mass website.
Battle Cards
Battle Decks will be formed as normal as detailed in the rulebook online. You may choose to swap the Advantage for the special environment condition that is available during this interval.
Table Size
These games will be played on 6 ft by 3 ft table.
Pairings
During the League you can play a league match against any other player in the League at any point though you may only challenge each player once to gain points from the match you have had with them so choose your opponents wisely. You can play your games at any time though you just need to let the event organiser know the results to update you points. Each month you may play up to two games that contribute to the League and accrue points.
League Points
At the end of each game you will score event points as follows:
Win – 3 Points
Loss – 0 Points
Draw – 1 Point
For Every 100 Points Killed – 1 Point
For completing a row or column on the mission card – 1 Point
Complete the full mission card – 5 Points
Best Painted Winner – 5 Points
