A 5-Day Field Trip for children and their families to enjoy in Dorset's Jurassic Coast!

Plenty of fossils, rocks, learning about geology in a fun way with experts, plus beach fun and games back at the Leeson House Field Study Centre where we stay.

Highlights include:
• Charmouth and Lyme Regis: Visit the world-renowned Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre and fossil-hunt on the beach – one of the few places where you can literally hit a World Heritage Site with a hammer!
• Lulworth Cove to Mupe Bay: Walk-through iconic geology and landscapes – fossils, tectonics, climate change and wildlife plus a must-do sea swim and ice cream!
• Weymouth Bay and beyond: Explore the area’s Jurassic sedimentary rocks called Jurassic Corallian and Kimmeridge Clay and spot the clues they hold to ancient marine life.
