About Prama

Prama is a Dorset charity that was established in 1982 and provides outstanding home-based care services and community groups to support people so that they can continue living independently, whether from ill health, disability or age-related issues. In addition, we offer support groups for carers and people living with dementia to give respite, companionship and advice; along with dementia awareness workshops.

We run over 60 groups across Dorset which provide a fantastic opportunity to get together and take part in a wide range of different activities, games and quizzes and are run by our team of group leaders and volunteers. Our groups give people the opportunity to socialise and meet new people.

This year one of our key aims is to celebrate how music plays a vital role in helping support some of the members of our Memory Lane groups and the wider community as a whole. The power that music has in unlocking memories, enabling our members to reminisce and the joy it brings them in listening & dancing to music, signing, and playing a musical instrument, is evident to see at many of our groups.

All proceeds from this concert will go to PramaLife to support these groups.

Ticket Price

Everbody who wishes to attend will need to buy a ticket in advance. There is no set fee for tickets but instead we are asking for donations. We are asking for a minimum donation of £7.50 in order for us to be able to cover costs and to ensure we can riase as much money as possible for PramaLife.
