Launched in 2000 to bring residents together and support Ashley Cross businesses, the festival has grown into a vibrant, much-loved event. This is where the heart of Ashley Cross beats strongest—where the community comes together to relax, have fun, and celebrate its unique spirit.

A huge selection of high-quality food and drink stalls, offering more variety than ever before. Tuck into delicious Greek dishes, beef burgers, Bratwurst sausages, Bao Buns, tasty sweets & treats, and ice cream. Wash it all down with choices from the Bricklayers Pub Bar, real ale & cider, and a dedicated Gin, PIMMS, and cocktail bar.
Kids Zone – Fun for the Whole Family
A dedicated entertainment stage featuring Meet & Greet with children's favourite characters, Squidge & Pop Bubbles, Balloon Madness with stilt walking and balloon modelling, Minky Moo's, Krazy Kev, Jamie Jigsaw, circus skills, and an exciting fire show. Plus, enjoy family-friendly rides, a bouncy castle, trampolines, face painting, children’s crafts, and more!
Grooves Garden – Relax & Enjoy
Take a seat and soak in the entertainment from the comfort of the Grooves Garden area, featuring a Grooves Garden Bar, washroom facilities, tables, and chairs, so you can beat the queues and enjoy the music in style.

Since its launch in 2000, Grooves on the Green has proudly supported local charities. For the past nine years, the festival has partnered with Diverse Abilities, raising around £50,000 to support their vital work.

Every year, Grooves delivers an outstanding lineup featuring the best musical talent the South has to offer! This year, in celebration of its 25th anniversary, the festival is thrilled to present the UK’s finest tribute acts— Oasis (Oassis), Foo Fighters (Few Fighters), Adele (Inspired by Adele) and Stereophonics (Stereoironics). Alongside these top-class acts, expect a fantastic mix of covers, original music, and instrumental performances from talented local artists.
