Poole June Critical Mass Bike Ride 🚲🤘
⏰12:00
📰Sunday 1st June
📍Meet Poole Quay
🚲Together we ride in a critical mass!
📢Our monthly Critical Mass will be back in Poole on June 1st!
More than ever we need to come out in support of cycling, safer streets and lower speeds! Boscombe has proposed lower speed limits and we are saying yes!
In critical mass we ride as one large group, taking up the whole left side of the road, it’s really a blast. We'll have our new speaker playing out tunes as we ride 🎵
❗This ride is suitable for children supervised by parents, please be aware we will be cycling on roads. In critical mass we ride as one large group, taking up the left side of the road. All legal and approved by Dorset Police.
❤️Anyone is welcome, Bring your bluetooth speaker along for tunes as we ride, and attach one of our flags to your bike!
BCP has ranked highly in the most congested areas in the UK for years, and this is as there are no reasonable alternatives to driving, let’s change that. This new year, let’s call for a safer BCP.
✌️Will you join us?

❗Important bits and bobs:
We will aim to have at least 8 stewards on the ride in hi-viz, at the front and back of the ride to help keep the group together, there will be flags available to attach to your bikes which should make us very visible for the ride! We will do everything we can to guide you at the traffic lights and roundabouts on the ride (see the route map in the about section).
The ride will be at a slow pace so you do not need to worry about being left behind. Feel free to bring children along on children's seats, on your bike or in a trailer. Anyone riding along with us however must have a reasonable level of road sense. We will have a briefing before the ride to run through everything you will need to know and a summary of the route.
Last thing, it is your responsibility to make sure your bike is in good condition - the main things to check are your chain and brakes!
See you there.
