Col. J R Dodd RAMC – a surgeon with a very interesting history by Steve Limburn

Once again we welcome Steve Limburn from the Bournemouth Natural Science Society and Museum who has previously delighted us with his displays and talks on WW1 and WW2 uniforms and memorabilia.

Tonight he will tell us of the story behind the uniform and walking stick that was given to his father many years ago by an Army surgeon who had led a very interesting life. Col J R Dodd had retired in 1906 and was brought back out of retirement to serve again overseas during WW1.

Both members and non members welcome. Doors open 7pm.
