Description
Join us for an experience day trip to remember to the bucket list destination of the National Trust protected Brownsea Island.
Launching from Bramble Bush Bay, we will navigate our way safely through the harbour, heading out towards our destination of Brownsea Island, past Furzey & Green Islands taking in the unique landscape and wildlife both on and off the island. Hopefully if we get lucky, we’ll meet some local seals too!! 🦭
A peaceful, scenic, leisurely tour on sheltered moving water for competent paddleboarders who can self rescue. We will cover approx 8 - 10km
You will also have 2 Coaches on hand to help you improve your knowledge and skills along the way,
We will stop to picnic on the South Shore of Brownsea Island.
Food & Drink not included, please bring your own.
If bringing own kit, Pfd and waist leash are mandatory. If you do not have these, you can hire them on the next page or buy from our website.
Solo paddlers very welcome, your new friends are waiting for you!
Please allow time for queues if catching the ferry on your way over.
Requirements
Must be able to swim 50m
Competent Paddleboarding experience
Able to self rescue without assistance.
Fit to paddle 10km over 4 hours (you are welcome to paddle on your knees for a while if you need a rest)
