Brandon & Harris: Summer Piano Recital

Brandon and Harris will present a blend of classical piano music and Brandon's newly released album 'Kaiser and I'.

The event will include an interval for refreshments (all drinks are complimentary). CDs will also be available for purchase (£10 each).

Brandon Roku Ali – Host

Brandon Roku Ali is a pianist and composer born in Equatorial Guinea, currently based in Poole, Dorset. He attended Poole High School and studied piano under Sheila Warbis before reading Modern Languages (BA Hons) and International Relations (MScEcon) at Cardiff University. A familiar presence in the region’s musical life, he was named Pianist of the Year in 2023 and is a recipient of the BMFC award. Brandon enjoys touring the UK to deliver his program of music aimed at bringing inner peace to the listeners.

Harris Leung – Guest Pianist

Hong Kong-born pianist Harris Leung graduated with distinction from the Royal College of Music in 2022, where he studied with Gordon Fergus-Thompson, supported by the Noel Croucher Scholarship. He previously earned First Class Honours in Music and Linguistics at the University of Hong Kong, studying with Amy Sze (piano) and Betty Li (harpsichord). Harris has performed across East Asia and the UK, appearing as a soloist and chamber musician. He made his concerto debut in 2018 at the HKU Grand Hall, and his London debut in January 2024 at Kings Place with the Firebird Orchestra.
