Join Emma and Fran for an enjoyable and relaxed day at The Makers Studio, for a workshop with a difference...
In the morning, you will create a handbuilt vase, which you can decorate with pressed flower imprints, stamps or pottery tools.
Emma will then keep the vases to dry and be fired (you can choose your preferred glaze colours)... you can either pick up or have your vase posted to you.
We will then break for lunch - choose to eat at the cafe (please let us know upon booking if you wish for this option), or being your own packed lunch.
After lunch, you will learn with Fran, useful and environmentally friendly techniques to create simple and effective floral displays, and take home your own posy in a flower jar.
No prior experience is required, and all materials and tools are provided.
The workshop will run from 10am to 4pm with an hour for lunch, and costs £70 per person.
