Honoring World War Casualties of Madison County

On Wednesday, June 18th, at 7:00 p.m. The Pompey Historical Society will host a special presentation entitled “World War Casualties of Madison County.” Madison County Historian Matthew Urtz will talk about his 2022 book of the same name which tells the story of over 200 soldiers that were killed in service of their country during World War I & World War II. Urtz will go through the research process, the publishing as well as tell stories of soldiers who were not included in the book. There is no charge for this event.
