Learn to Kayak: Mon River Water Trail – Point Marion Launch
Discover kayaking on the Mon River with this hands-on beginner program led by Venture Outdoors and the National Road Heritage Corridor. This guided experience is designed to build your confidence and connect you with the water.

What You’ll Learn:
• Basic paddling techniques and safety skills
• Equipment overview and trip preparation
• Local ecology and the significance of the river corridor
What’s Included:
• Kayak, paddle, and PFD provided
• Instruction and support from certified guides
• A welcoming environment for first-time paddlers
Important Details:
• Ages 14+ (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
• Participants must be comfortable around water and able to engage in moderate activity
• Space is limited to 10 participants – advance registration required
