Enhance your knowledge, expand your skills, and get a little experimental in our Sewing Lab series.
This Lab: Creating Textiles from Scraps
In this session, you'll explore the art of turning fabric scraps into larger usable textile pieces! There are countless methods for this, but we'll be exploring "Improvisational Piecing." This method is playful, creative, and results in textiles that are truly one-of-a-kind. If time allows, you are welcome to use a template we provide to turn your textile into a stocking!
Scrap materials are available, but feel free to bring a bag or bin of scraps, remnants, and/or clothing items to harvest material from.
