Gallop & Gather: A Derby Day Event in Downtown Plymouth

• Check-in & Scavenger Hunt Begin at 1 PM at Ella & Ava Boutique
• Food & Drink at Opies and Yellow River Tap & Eatery begins at 4 PM
• Doors open at The REES Theater at 5:30 PM
• Kentucky Derby Viewing Party: 6–8 PM (The race is expected to begin just before 7 PM)
• Dress in your Derby best!

The Details:

Start your experience at 1 PM by checking in at Ella & Ava Boutique (105 W. Laporte St.) to receive your Gallop & Gather punch card.

Explore downtown shops and participate in the Golden Horse Scavenger Hunt. Earn a punch for each golden horse you find, and collect bonus punches with in-store purchases. Purchases are not required, but each one increases your chances to win big during the evening prize drawings at the REES.

Enjoy other derby-themed games and activities while you shop! Stop by the Heartland Art Center to craft your own Derby fascinator or hat, and enjoy themed games and selfie stations at participating shops downtown.

At 4 PM, your food and drink crawl begins. Your ticket includes one drink and one appetizer at each of the following locations: • Opie’s • Yellow River Tap & Eatery

At 5:30 PM, head to the beautifully restored REES Theater for the Kentucky Derby Viewing Party.

At the REES, you’ll enjoy:

• The opportunity to place your bets using your filled punch card for prize entries
• A cash bar with drink specials and light snacks
• An optional $10 charcuterie box from Gather 2 Graze
• An optional $15 balcony upgrade that includes reserved seating, a charcuterie box, and personal bar service
• The Kentucky Derby live on the big screen (race begins just before 7 PM)
