The Portage County Historical Society invites the community to kick off the summer with Heritage Days, a free, family-friendly celebration of music, history, and community spirit—taking place Saturday and Sunday, June 14–15, 2025, at Heritage Park in Plover.
This year’s Heritage Days will be the largest yet, featuring live music, historical demonstrations, kids activities, local food and drink, and the grand opening of the Society’s newest exhibit:
“Rhythms of the River: The History of Music in Portage County.”
Live Music Schedule:
Saturday, June 14
11:00 AM – Gray Catz (Country/Oldies)
2:30 PM – Erin Krebs Trio (Blues)
4:30 PM – Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials (Chicago Blues)
Sunday, June 15
11:00 AM – The Foragers (Bluegrass)
1:00 PM – Tom Pease (Folk/Children’s Music)
In addition to the music, guests can explore 11 fully restored historic buildings, enjoy live blacksmithing and heritage craft demonstrations, and engage in interactive kids games and family activities. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including local offerings from Point Brewery.
Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
