Before we say goodbye to the winter forest, Join Park Educator Joe Z in exploring what the plants and animals do in the Rockefeller woods at this time of year.
During this mostly outdoor program, we'll investigate animal tracks and signs, examine winter tree identification, and discuss the unique strategies wildlife use to cope with snow, ice, and limited food. Well also look at how the forest is beginning to transition toward the spring, and what clues in the landscape reveal what’s coming next.
