DOM FLEMONS – The American Songster
A Grammy Award-winning artist and founding member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Dom Flemons is a singular voice in American folk and Black roots music. A true storyteller through song, Flemons is also a historian, poet, actor, and cultural curator. His solo albums Black Cowboys and Traveling Wildfire (both released by Smithsonian Folkways) have earned Grammy nominations and shone a spotlight on African American contributions to America’s musical heritage. His artistry and advocacy have earned him international recognition, establishing him as one of the most influential and decorated voices in American roots music today.
DYLAN TRIPLETT BAND – Soul-Blues Rising Star
Winner of the 2024 Blues Music Award for Best Emerging Artist Album, Dylan Triplett brings raw power, smooth soul, and a fresh take on blues to every stage he hits. Hailing from East St. Louis, Triplett has drawn comparisons to legends like Luther Vandross and James Brown for his vocal range, charisma, and electric stage presence. Backed by a first-rate band, his shows are part concert, part celebration and all party.
