Hello All! I'm hosting a comprehensive production training class on June 28th and 29th at The Movie Institute location in Plano, TX that's open to everyone.
6121 W. Park Blvd. Plano, TX 75093 (In the Shops at Willow Bend; 2nd floor near Dillards)
The class is designed to train up people wanting to become DP's, camera operators, and technical directors for their own productions. You'll also dabble with audio and some editing of content as well.
It will feature the Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO paired with Blackmagic Studio cameras.
Our goals will be to set up for a podcast recording that each person will get a chance to live edit an episode. We'll be working with lighting, cameras, audio, and of course, the ATEM, covering setup all the way through editing of content. You'll have the opportunity to take home the episode you work on for your own demo reel content.
This is an opportunity to bridge the gap of getting experience without experience. You'll be able to ask questions, get hands-on, push buttons, and get insight on best practices when it comes to lights, camera, and action.
The class is two days from 9am - 6pm. A good portion of the second day will be spent actually working on podcast content in various positions.

The fee is $599 and supports a great non-profit organization that helps train upcoming youth in the industry.
