Calm Suburban Hike - Presented by Good Soil Collective

Join the Collective for a suburban hike through the Historic District and Sleepy Hollow neighborhood of Plainfield, NJ! We'll be taking up space with community members and enjoying the architecture/landscaping/conversation while investing in our bodies. Start location will be at Hub Stein Field. Meet us at the track entrance and wear your Good Soil merch if you have it!!

Hikers must adhere to the following:

1) Arrive On Time! We will be leaving at 6:15pm (as long as we can control it) to maximize sunlight. Winter just ended, after all!

2) Come Ready! Check the weather, dress comfy, & bring water/snacks. If you have allergies, mask up!

3) Plan for 2 hrs! We will check in with the group and adjust for pacing, but the base Plainfield route is ~4.5 miles, and the extended route is ~6.5 miles (that's ~1.8 additional miles with a quick dip into Scotch Plains!) We'll be moving at a comfy but active speed.

4) Be Present! Take in the sights or engage the squad. Also, watch for cars as we cross roads.

5) Honor The Headphones! Contradictory to the last point, but we respect those who desire to hike amongst community while maintaining their own vibe.
