BENEFIT FOR CAYDEN MURPHY

Cayden’s medical journey began on June 18th with severe headaches, vomiting, and neurological symptoms that quickly escalated, leading to a month of multiple hospital stays between Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, CHOP, and Geisinger Danville, countless tests, and a difficult search for answers. He was ultimately diagnosed with Reversible Cerebral Vasoconstriction Syndrome (RCVS), an extremely rare condition that caused bleeding in his brain, a stroke in his cerebellum and dangerously high blood pressure.

Through weeks of uncertainty, Cayden showed incredible strength while he and his family fought for answers. With the help of dedicated doctors and overwhelming support from loved ones, his most recent MRI showed improvement—allowing him to finally return home. While he still needs physical and occupational therapy and close follow-up care, Cayden’s recovery is a true testament to courage and resilience.
