The Power of Play Workshop is a dynamic professional development experience designed to enhance communication skills and boost confidence in both personal and professional settings. Hosted by Powerplay, a communication coaching business founded and led by Claire Sabatine, this workshop combines the best of performance studies with practical, actionable skills. Participants will engage in a range of activities aimed at improving interpersonal communication, public speaking, active listening, and more -- all through fun, playful techniques that get you out of your head and into your body.
At the heart of the workshop is Claire’s unique approach to communication, drawing from her expertise as an accomplished actor, educator, and producer. By emphasizing the mind-body connection, adaptability, and self-confidence, Claire helps participants become more authentic and present in their interactions. This interactive experience not only builds essential communication skills but also empowers individuals to step into their full potential as effective speakers and strong leaders.
With a diverse background that includes teaching at the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Theatre Arts and working as a teaching artist with City Theatre’s Arts Access programs, Claire brings a wealth of experience to every session. Powerplay is also recognized as an accredited provider by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, offering Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits to attorneys.
