THE LOST WEEKEND – May Pang’s Photographs of John Lennon
Atithi Studios, located at 1020 North Canal Street, Sharpsburg, PA, is proud to present a special two-day pop-up exhibition:
June 10th and 11th — 1-7pm Free and open to the public.
Meet renowned photographer May Pang, John Lennon’s former partner during his “Lost Weekend” era, and view her intimate, candid photographs of the music legend. May Pang will be present to meet guests and personally sign prints of her iconic images of John Lennon.
This unique event offers a rare opportunity to hear stories directly from May Pang, whose photographs capture Lennon during one of his most creatively prolific periods. From 1973 to 1975, Pang documented Lennon in personal and relaxed settings, resulting in an extraordinary collection of limited-edition photographs.
This special exhibit coincides with the acclaimed Amazon Prime documentary movie out now, The Lost Weekend: A Love Story, which brings renewed attention to this pivotal and creative chapter in Lennon’s life, as seen through May’s eyes.
Join us at Atithi Studios on June 10th and 11th for this free public exhibit — a celebration of music, art, and history through the lens of May Pang.
All works will be available for purchase during the pop-up.
