About the event

Summer Sing Mozart
WHO: The Bach Choir of Pittsburgh invites EVERYONE to come sing with us! No auditions necessary!

WHAT: A low commitment – high enjoyment choral experience. Summer Sing is a wild experience – a cross between an open rehearsal of a choral masterwork and a reading session with singers of all levels of training and experience. We will read by sight and make what music we can within three Tuesday evening rehearsals. It is always joyful but exhausting, magical and a little bit messy. Mostly, it’s just good choral fun!

WHERE: Rodef Shalom Congregation, 4905 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

WHEN: It will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 10 and 17, 2025 from 7:00-10:00PM.

SESSIONS: You do not have to attend all three sessions.
Week 1 (June 3) -Bach: Magnificat (1723)
Week 2 (June 10) - Copland: Old American Songs (1953)
Week 3 (June 17) - Mozart: Vesperae solennes de confessore, K. 339 (1780)
