Intro to Sewing Workshop
Description: This class is an introduction to the basics of sewing with woven fabrics. Students will learn basic machine operation, sewing seams, corners, a basic zipper installation, while making a simple mini cosmetics bag using a So-Sew Easy sewing pattern. Whether you have never used a sewing machine or need a refresher from your home ec class decades ago, this class is right for you! Each participant will make their own mini cosmetics bag to take home at the end of class. No experience required. All materials will be provided.. Age requirement 16+ (minors must be accompanied by an adult)
Cost: $55 for non-members $50 for HackPGH members. Be advised, no-shows will NOT be refunded. Please notify us if you cannot attend the class at least 48 hours before the class date!
