Welcome to Best Bites, a tasting tour series that explores the exciting food and beverage scenes of Pittsburgh neighborhoods.
Best Bites: SouthSide Works will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 12-4 p.m.
Take your tastebuds on a tour around SouthSide Works and the surrounding area. From breakfast and beer to comfort foods and specialty cocktails, you’ll get a taste of some of the most popular places in the neighborhood—without having to wait for a table!
Enjoy delicious tastings from a curated selection of local restaurants, bars and pop-ups. Spend your afternoon getting a feel for the South Side, and maybe even find your new favorite spot!
HOW IT WORKS
⏰ You will have a 4-hour timeframe to complete the tour at your leisure.
🎟 You will receive an official ticket lanyard in the mail to wear, which has a map that lists the tasting stops on the tour. Please wear your Best Bites ticket lanyard at all times during the tour, as it is required at each stop.
🍽 Present your ticket lanyard to staff at each stop to receive your tasting. They will mark off their assigned number to ensure one tasting per person.
🤳 Each tour stop will have a tasting menu sign posted at their serving area. Scan the QR code to learn more about that business!
🏆 After the tour, you'll be able to vote for the People's Choice Awards—vote for Best Bite, Best Drink and Best Tasting Experience.
