An evening with Lafayette

Join us as we commemorate the 200th anniversary of Marquis de Lafayette’s historic visit to Pittsburgh, the last living general of the American Revolution, with a captivating one-man show starring actor Benjamin Goldman. Known for his striking resemblance to the young Lafayette, his fluency in French, and his sharp wit, Goldman brings this legendary figure to life in an unforgettable performance.

This theatrical event serves as the perfect complement to the Grand Pass in Review at Arsenal Park, hosted earlier that day by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Part of the larger celebration, A Day with Lafayette in Pittsburgh, this performance is a highlight of Lafayette’s 10-day Farewell Tour through Western Pennsylvania.
