Sabato 10 maggio al Lumiere, anteprima del libro di Matteo Barsuglia, direttore presso il CNRS. La sua ricerca si concentra sulla rilevazione delle onde gravitazionali. Dal 2005 al 2007 ha guidato il team responsabile dello sviluppo del rivelatore Virgo. Dal 2008 al 2018 è stato a capo del team Virgo presso il laboratorio APC e membro del comitato direttivo del progetto. Attualmente è membro del comitato direttivo del progetto Einstein Telescope. Dal 2018 è direttore del PCCP (Paris Center for Cosmological Physics), nonché del centro Cosmos, sciences and societies.
