A distanza di 10 anni dalla prima edizione, del primo festival in Campania dedicato alla musica e alle danze swing, in occasione dell’ internazionale World Lindy Hop day, torna il Song’Swing Festival, il 24 e 25 Maggio 2025 a Napoli
4 artisti internazionali della danza terranno lezioni di Lindy Hop, SoloJazz e Balboa, tre stili diversi per esprimersi sulla musica swing, lezioni mirate a implementare il bagaglio di esperienza di chi già pratica le serate danzanti, ma anche lezioni rivolte a chi non ha mai mosso passi sulla pista da ballo ma ne sente l’attrazione e vuole rispondere alla chiamata del ritmo rimbalzante e energico della musica swing.
Ma se le lezioni sono pomeridiane, la sera si potrà assistere a uno spettacolo unico che vede riunite, nella magnifica scenografia del Salone Margherita, la musica suonata dal vivo da band swing di rinomata esperienza nel panorama italiano, e le esibizioni dei ballerini che siano esse improvvisazioni libere, espressioni dell’impeto dei partecipanti alla serata, come anche spettacoli coreografati dagli artisti ospiti, e anche competizioni e gare tra i partecipanti al festival.

SONG’ SWING FESTIVAL 2025

The days dedicated to SWING music and dance return to Naples.

Ten years after the first edition of the first festival in Campania dedicated to swing music and dance, and on the occasion of the international World Lindy Hop Day, the Song’Swing Festival returns on May 24th and 25th, 2025, in Naples.
Four international dance artists will hold classes in Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, and Balboa—three different styles to express oneself through swing music. These lessons are designed to enhance the experience of those already participating in dance nights. There will also be classes for those who have never danced before but feel drawn to it and want to answer the call of the energetic and bouncy rhythm of swing music.
While the classes take place in the afternoon, the evening will feature a unique show at the magnificent Salone Margherita.
It will showcase live swing bands with renowned experience in the Italian scene, along with dance performances: from spontaneous improvisations, expressing the passion of the participants, to choreographed shows by guest artists, competitions, and contests among the festival participants, and much more.

Registrations close on 20/05 at 20:00 or once sold out.
Registration will be valid upon payment of the selected pass within 48 hours after the registration.
