Hailing from the borderlands of San Diego, CA, Drug Hunt is a quartet of natural seditionists blending psychedelia with the sonic palettes of garage, and post-punk, with occasional forays into prog and metal. Their unique sound has earned them cinematic comparisons like “Tarantinoesque” for their eclectic, anachronistic style— a self-aware collage of influences that transforms the familiar into something new.
Their live performances have been summed up as “Biker Bar Pink Floyd” for their raw and incendiary performances. Drug Hunt has supported a wide array of bands such as Earthless, WAND, Son Rompe Pera, Black Mountain, Dead Meadow, Surfbort, Spoon Benders, Meatbodies, King Buffalo, and most recently, Death Valley Girls, Boogarins and Rickshaw Billies Burger Patrol.
Their latest album, Feast, released 7/20/24 released via Bad Vibes Good Friends was described by Stereogum as “warbly visions and proclamations from an acid-addled prophet”. The record shifts from horn-led marches, post-punk proclamations and all-out psychedelic freakouts.

Formed in Astoria, Oregon in 2020 and currently hailing from the high desert of Joshua Tree, California, This Lonesome Paradise is the brainchild of E. Ray Béchard (vocal/guitar). TLP delivers a sonic palate of reverb soaked retribution, lounge lust, and the enigmatic echoes of western noir. Album instrumentation is filled out by Jordin Bordeaux (keys/vocals), Ivan Garcia (drums), Chris Wilson (bass). Their dark, brooding music cinema evokes the blood thirst of a Cormac McCarthy novel and the poetic surrealism of a David Lynch film.
Heading into 2024 with a bucket of accolades and two (Electric Dreams/Nightshades) KEXP “top ten” records of the year under their belt they embarked upon a new record, LUNA NOCTURNA. Dripping with bits of soul, goth, trip hop and bound together with their distinctive post-western twang…it is by far their most wounded, raw and creative work to date.
TLP has shared the stage with a wide array of musical talent such as Timber Timbre, The Warlocks, Wand and Spindrift to name just a few…currently touring the west, look out for them in a city near you.
