Prerequisites: Attendees must have completed the Basic Organization Course prior to attending this seminar.
At the second of MGE’s four Power Program Executive Seminars, we’ll put the finishing touches on your Organizing Board and then dive heavily into the subject of STAFF. Specifically, how to hire, train, motivate and build a winning team. Subjects covered include:
1) Organizing Board Implementation and Troubleshooting: You’ve learned about and implemented the Organizing Board. Now it’s time to work out any kinks and take it to the next level! We’ll discuss the ins and outs of implementation, as well as how to troubleshoot specific points with your team.
2) The Science of Help Wanted Ads: How do you write ads that get a ton of response? We’ll give you how-to’s, along with making sure you can apply them.
3) From Response to Interview: We’ll cover how to move through resumes quickly, so as to not put a potential “great” team member on “hold.” We’ll show you what points to focus on to determine if an applicant would be a good fit for your practice.
4) The Interview Process: Ever had an employee that interviewed fantastically and then completely
changed after they were hired? Or, maybe you’ve hired someone that you thought was a good fit, only to find that you were terribly wrong after they’ve worked for you for a week. In any event, your interview skills can make or break your practice. We’ll cover the entire interview process, including how to determine (with close to 100% accuracy) if someone will pan out to be a productive member of your team. You’ll learn what questions to ask, what points to check and how to determine if that prospective employee has the potential to become an effective part of your team!
5) Group Interviews: If you have multiple applicants for the same position, Group Interviews are an effective way to find productive personnel – FAST. We’ll show you the process and how to implement it in your practice.
6) The Onboarding Process: Productive staff are MADE, they don’t grow on trees. We’ll cover the entire onboarding, training and apprenticeship process so you can transform that new hire into a productive, highly valuable member of your team!
