Swing Wednesday at BAYOU DANCE CLUB

This Wednesday (August 13th) — Wednesday Swing returns to Bayou Dance Club featuring a brand-new dance floor! We're going to take advantage of the two ballrooms and two dance floors to try out a new format with two DJs and two simultaneous music mixes! Let us know how you like it...we hope it'll be twice as fun!

Swing Dance Lesson 7-8pm | Music & Dancing 8-11+pm | $10 Admission | All Ages Welcome

BALLROOM #1 DJ Tooptastic spins a jumpin' and jivin' mix of upbeat swinging music with occasional breaks for other dances. After 10pm, it'll be a modern mix that you can swing dance to!

BALLROOM #2 DJ Kyle Butler spins a swing mix for Lindy Hop (or triple-swing or foxtrot) the first part of the evening , followed by an uptempo jazz/big-band mix after the Shim Sham for Balboa, Charleston, Fast Lindy or East Coast Swing. After 10pm, it'll be Blues & Blues Fusion in this room!

Bayou Dance Club features professional floating-wood dance floors, double the dance space, good air conditioning, and free parking. You may bring your own food and beverages (including alcohol if you're 21+). We'll also have bottled water, soft drinks and juices for sale.
