Community Conversation: Childcare, Workforce and the Economy

The Moore County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Sandhills Community College, invites the public to attend a dynamic half-day event designed to address one of the most pressing issues facing families and businesses today—childcare.
The Community Conversation: Childcare, the Workforce and the Economy will take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Sandhills Community College’s Foundation Hall, located at 3395 Airport Road, Pinehurst. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m., with the program running from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This thought-provoking event will bring together childcare providers, parents, business leaders, and community partners to engage in a meaningful dialogue around the current state of care in Moore County. Attendees will hear real stories and shared experiences that highlight the direct impact of childcare on families, businesses, and the local economy. RSVPs are kindly requested.
