All crafters & friends welcome!
Join our friendly community of craft lovers! We have been meeting every Tuesday at 10:00 am for over 8 years at the cozy Pimpama Tavern – a modern, family-friendly venue (102 Pimpama–Jacobs Well Road).
Our meetups usually wrap up around noon (with many of us staying on for lunch afterward). All kinds of crafts are welcome – knitting, crochet, embroidery, colouring, card-making and more – and you’ll find plenty of encouragement and cheer from fellow crafters. Even if you just want to pop in for a cuppa and a chat, you’ll fit right in, because friends and coffee are always welcome!
What to expect
We love meeting new people and projects every week in a warm, creative atmosphere. Our craft circle is all about sharing ideas, learning new skills, and encouraging each other. Here’s what you can look forward to:
All crafts & beginners welcome – Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, colouring or card-making project (or just yourself). No experience needed – even a warm cuppa is a perfect creative companion.
Support & pride – Members freely share tips and genuine praise. Fellow makers know the time and care behind each creation, and their encouragement truly “instils pride” in our work.
Connect & chat – Crafting together naturally breaks the ice and sparks great conversation. Studies find that working on crafts with others "improves social contact and communication", and in our group stitching together really does get the conversation flowing.
Inclusive community – Crafting draws "a very diverse crowd" and offers a universal language of creativity. People of all ages and backgrounds find common ground here.
Regular schedule – We meet every Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Pimpama Tavern (usually wrapping up by noon). Many of us then head for lunch together, so there’s plenty of time to catch up beyond crafting.

Finally, a note to all our members (especially newer ones): by joining our Facebook group you agreed to come to the weekly meet-up, and we can’t wait to meet everyone in person!
If you haven’t made it out yet, consider this your warm invitation to join us next Tuesday. Even if you haven’t brought a project, just pop in for your favourite cuppa – crafting together naturally “breaks the ice” and sparks great conversation, so you’ll feel right at home. What to bring:
Feel free to bring your current craft project (yarn, fabric, paper, beads, etc.) or start something new with us. No project? No problem – just bring yourself and your creativity. Everyone is welcome, and our group’s friendly support will help you along. See you at the Tavern on Tuesday morning!
