Soapbox Derby!!

Join us for the annual Bloomfield soapbox derby. This FREE event for children ages 5 to 12 includes a pizza lunch and trophies for the fastest runs in each age category.
Bring your own soapbox or use one of ours. All soapboxes must submit to a pass/fail inspection prior to racing.
All participants require helmets, long sleeved shirt and closed shoes (no crocs!). Helmets with face protection and elbow pads are preferred so bring these if you have them.
Registration opens at 8:30 am at the corner of Mill and Main Street in Bloomfield. Races start at 9:30 am. Bring a lawn chair and your loudest cheering voices!
