The Market at the Mill is Proud to Sponsor the Upstates first Domestic Violence Awareness Rally
This event will have guest speakers to tell their stories and to educate others what Domestic Violence is and how it effects the victims and their loved ones.
Domestic Violence is not only physical Violence.
We encourage everyone to come out to learn about this serious matter because you never know who will ever come across situations that can cost someone their life.
It is time to stand up and Speak up against Domestic Violence. Most to All victims are silenced and this matter is being swept under the rug by everyone including police and other law officials. Most cases the Victim is made out to be the abuser and is punished in many ways and even criminally for self defense.
There will be. a DJ. Guest Speakers. Vendors. Food. Law enforcement security. And much more as time gets closer.
There will also be a designated area for donations for anyone who is starting over or homeless from Domestoc Violence situations to be able to come get what they need to help restart their new life as a Domestic Violence Survivor.
All profits this event makes will be donated to Local Shelters such as The Hiding Place, The Serenity House, The Dream Center, and Safe Harbor.

Especially for the Victims as we will be having people from.local agencies to help provide resources in hopes to be able to save more lives from Domestic Violence.
