Pickens County 4-H Scent and Skills Showcase: Canine Cadet Dog Club Preview

Come learn about the Canine Cadet Dog Club and see what it’s all about! Enjoy exciting live demonstrations of scent work and trick training, connect with other dog enthusiasts, meet with our club leader, and find out how you and your pup can join the fun. Ages 8-18 and all experience levels welcome — bring your curiosity and love for dogs!

Launching Fall 2025 through Pickens County 4-H and Palmetto State K9 Training, the Canine Cadet Dog Club is perfect for youth ages 8-18 who want to explore dogs through hands-on learning. Members will explore obedience training, showmanship, trick training, scent work, responsible dog ownership, and more—all in a fun, supportive setting. No previous experience required!

Refund statement: Full payment is due upon registration. No refunds will be issued within three weeks of the start of the event.

Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership is not required for particiaption in this event, but you must preregister.

Custodial Care: Please note that this event and its coordinators do not assume custodial care of youth in attendance. Adults (parents, guardians, volunteers, coaches, or chaperones) must be present for the supervision of youth participants.
