The Mike Vax Superband

The newest big band in the Phoenix area is the Vax Super Band. It is a 19-piece big band, composed of many of the finest players in our area. The repertoire includes music from many of the famous jazz Big Bands, including Stan Kenton, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman, Bob Florence, Tom Kubis and many more; plus new original material that includes big band arrangements of many popular music tunes.


The Super Band performs very listenable music in a relaxed, fun atmosphere – The Nash!
