Succulents for Small Spaces: Hands On Class

Succulents are a perfect choice if you live in an apartment or condo and want to incorporate plants into your small space. The presenter will explore what makes a plant a succulent, their geographic origins, and why they are great options for small spaces. You’ll learn all about the light, water, and soil requirements for successfully growing succulents. The class ends with an opportunity to repot and take home a succulent.

Bio:
Maricopa County Master Gardener Stephanie Halcrow is passionate about sharing her love of gardening. She does this through hands-on educational classes to including her class: Succulents for Small Spaces. Because succulents thrive under stress, Stephanie believes succulents are the gateway plant to gardening. Stephanie engages the public at libraries, churches, community centers, Home Shows, and the U.S. Botanical Garden in Washington D.C.
