Creative Arts & PLAY Workshop for Adults: Connect Rx

Adult burnout is on a MAJOR rise in the last two years. So are feelings of adult anxiety and helplessness- yet we all keep on engaging in meaningless forms of entertainment to numb those feelings.

Remember when you were a kid and PLAY felt like life was filled with possibilties? That's because play is a huge part of our learning and resilency.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind workshop that combines PLAY with CREATIVE ARTS for the purpose of combating adult burn out and meaninglessness.

Connect Rx

Do you want to play AND make new friends?

At our Connect Rx event, you will play and create with other adults by participating in play prompts called Playscriptions that combine visual arts, writing, improv, movement, and problem solving.

No skills or talent required, but you DO need to bring a playful spirit, a desire to drop the nasty inner critic, and a growth mindset to do some pretty -ahem- weird sh*t.

These events change every occurance because the first two stages of play are anticipation and the element of suprise.

Things to Know:

• Directions: drive to "Arizona Center parking garage". You get free 2 hour validated parking at the end of the event. Then, set your maps to walking and head to Coldstone Creamery. There will be signs with the Play Rx pill bottle to direct you to the correct suite.

• This is an event for 18+ only. There will be a bit of cussing and creative uncensored things made by creative adults, so please don't expect this to be your grandmother's craft night ;)

• Wear comfortable clothing and keep in mind there might be acrylic paint present (and no, it doesn't come out of clothes easily).

• No food or drinks are provided, so it's recommended to BRING water and eat beforehand.
