The University of St. Martin (USM) is proud to partner with the One Shark Project to host an informative public lecture on exploring sharks and marine life in St. Martin.
The event will take place on October 16th, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, at the USM Lecture Hall.
The One Shark Project was founded by a diverse coalition of St. Barthélemy and St. Martin governmental, medical, environmental, and maritime organizations, united in their commitment to preserving the region’s blue economy and promoting responsible shark risk management.
Featured presenters are Hadrien Bidenbach, Director of the One Shark Project, specializes in tiger shark ecology and shark risk management strategies in the French Antilles.
And Laetitia Mathon, Marine Biologist, specializes in molecular techniques to study fish communities and is currently working on establishing a marine biology program.
