The Illadel Experiment is a live EP release and documentary screening happening Thursday, June 26th at World Cafe Live. This one-of-a-kind event is the culmination of a powerful, intergenerational collaboration between 10 Philly-based artists, brought together through the support of the Black Music City grant.
Over the course of two months, we built a sonic landscape rooted in storytelling, improvisation, and community—a live-recorded EP that reflects the spirit and depth of Philadelphia’s creative scene. Alongside the music, we’ll be premiering a behind-the-scenes documentary capturing the process, people, and passion that brought this project to life.
