Join poets & educators Alison Lubar (@theoriginalalison) and Taylor Alyson Lewis (@blackboipoet) for a 2 hr. generative workshop that breaks the limitations of the teacher/student and poem/reader binaries. We’ll consider how poems are teachers, as well as the way that poets are both teachers and students. Finally, we’ll discover how poetry can give us answers to our silliest and deepest questions. Participants of all experiences are welcome, and can expect to walk away with some new work that they’ve created both on their own and in a community setting. Come see what’s possible when we trust our own inner teachers and become students of each other!
