Join us for a special screening of the Black Female Therapist Documentary, exploring the lives of Black female therapists as they support their clients’ mental health while navigating their own personal mental health journeys. This film offers a unique perspective, aiming to break down the stigma surrounding mental health within the Black community.
After the film, a licensed therapist will be available to answer any questions you may have about mental health. Free mental health resources will be provided for anyone interested.
Additionally, we’ll have hands-on therapeutic bead bracelet making and a sound bath demonstration on how a sound bath works. Note: We won't be doing a full Sound Bath Meditation; we will only explain how it functions. Don’t miss this opportunity for insight, support, and community healing.
We will be hosting this at Fortress Arts Academy located at 5011 Baltimore Ave. Street parking wherever available. Beads for bracelet making will be provided at an additional cost.
Event supported by Empowered CDC, and Fortress Arts Academy.
