Freedom Side School Garden party

We've been busy behind the scenes at Freedom Side over the past year! As we move through springtime and head toward summer, we want to celebrate all that we've built, and share some major milestones on our path to opening!

Come connect with the many contributors moving us forward, and learn more about how you can join us in our work to open a K-5 school, rooted in healing justice, and rising to meet a new generation of abolitionists and movement leaders.

We'll connect over live music, from Philly favorites Ill Doots, DJ Oluwafemi and DJ Ella, plus live art making and updates from Freedom Side's staff and community partners! This is an all ages event, and is free to attend—we will be accepting donations upon entry if you're able and inspired to give, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds!
