Learn how to paint a beautiful impressionistic Lake Sunset using soft pastel! You’ll explore color, expressive mark-making, perspective, and the basics of pastels. No experience with drawing or pastels is necessary and beginners are welcome! All supplies are included and everyone will receive an instructional handout. Projects will be completed on 9" x 12" paper.

Community Instructor: Molly Carroll
Molly is a trained pastel artist based in Maumee, Ohio. She has been working with soft pastels close to a decade and graduated with her BFA from Bowling Green State University. She has been featured in several shows and exhibitions around the Midwest. She has always had a deep love of nature and enjoys painting landscapes above all else.
