The History of Islam in Britain
Come join us for an insightful event exploring the history of Islam in Britain at Prince Albert High School.
From medieval trade links to Victorian converts, and from World War heroes to today’s cultural icons, Muslims have helped shape Britain for over a thousand years. This session uncovers the deep-rooted history of Muslim presence, influence, and contributions—challenging misconceptions and countering divisive narratives. By exploring the stories of pioneers, scholars, soldiers, and social reformers, we shine a light on a shared past that connects us all. Join us in rediscovering a history that deserves to be told.
