July Slavchev and Chris Makarov are a duo of two lifelong friends, with a passion for writing music. They started the bulgarian group Molec, known for its mixture of live instruments, trap beats and poetic lyrics about love, hardship and their unbroken connection to God. Their first live on stage was in early March of 2022 in a small club, and exactly 9 months after their conception they made the biggest solo concert in Bulgaria for 2022 (selling out every single concert in between). The band's biggest song '7 Dni was dubbed " The song of the summer 2022. Molec has collaborated with different artists including V:RGO, Mila Robert, Ernesto Valenzuela and others. They won 4 categories of the 2023 BG Radio Awards and many other prizes - something which has never happened in the long history of the awards dating back to 2002. Their debut album 'ALBUM' reached 25 000 fans on their 2023’ tour, inspiring young and old along the way. They even won “Best Album” at the 2024 BG Radio Awards and 3 other categories, repeating the impossible. At the end of this year they will be performing at the biggest arena in Bulgaria - Sofia Arena (ex Armeec) and will once again guide their fans to an emotionally spiritual universe made of sound and word.
